Judy Baseman was born and raised in Watertown, Wisconsin. After graduating from ELCA’s Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota with a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Judy taught vocal music for ten years. She received her Master’s and Education Specialist degrees in Educational Leadership from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is currently an administrator with the Appleton Area School District and began her role as POP Canticle Choir Director in August, 2010.
Judy and her husband, Ed Baseman, have two sons, Erik and Tyler. Judy’s mother-in-law, Arleen Basemen, is also a member at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.
