Prince of Peace is a family of Christians

Pastor Gary J. Nokleberg was born in Fergus Falls, Minnesota, but was raised and went to school in Duluth. After graduating from the ELCA's Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota, Pastor Gary graduated from Luther Theological Seminary in St. Paul.

His first Call was to Grace Lutheran Church in Ada, Minnesota. Pastor Gary's second Call was to Trinity Lutheran Church, a mission church in Hammond, Wisconsin, and he served there for seven years. A third Call was received from Trinity Lutheran Church in Spooner, Wisconsin, and Pastor Gary served that congregation for six years. The Call to serve as pastor at Prince of Peace was received in 1992, and Pastor Gary has been a pastor here for since November 1992.

Pastor Nokleberg is married with two sons.
