Prince of Peace is a family of Christians

All students, pre-school through 6th grade, use the Spark Lectionary curriculum. Each week the lesson learned in Sunday school will correspond to the theme of the worship service. Each grade will have its own classroom and age-appropriate materials and activities will be used in the different classrooms. We are fortunate to have wonderful, dedicated volunteers to serve as teachers and shepherds for each grade.

Sunday school lasts 45 minutes (9:40 – 10:25). Students can attend the first part of the 9:20 service with their families, or are welcome at either the 8:00 or 10:45 services.

A special opportunity is offered to students who have received their first communion. A short pastor-led service designed specifically for students will immediately follow Sunday school. This allows for students to take communion and strengthen the lesson from Sunday school and it also provides time for parents to socialize together!

Our goal is for Sunday school students to learn and retain the basic tenets of their Christian faith and to allow families the opportunity to worship together. We look forward to helping your child on their faith journey as they learn about the Bible, their Lutheran heritage, and our savior, Jesus Christ.
