Handbells

Soli Deo Handbell Choir  Soli Deo Handbell Choir is an adult fellowship of ringers who rehearse on Wednesday mornings and prepare musical anthems in many styles, along with hymn and/or liturgical accompaniments, for one Sunday service each month, September through May. We have 5 octaves Malmark handbells and handchimes at our disposal and LOTS of percussion instruments, too! Contact Sondra Joten, Director, if you are interested or curious about joining the group (full time or as a substitute). We are a fun and loving collection of ringers with varied musical skills…but ALL ARE WELCOME as we hone our talents to ring to the glory of God!

Peace Ringers Handbell Choir  All ages are welcome, particularly school-age youth, to join this fun group regardless of skill. You do not have to read music to be a ringer but it is a great way to learn how. We rehearse Wednesday afternoons after school/before midweek worship, beginning in September throughout much of the school year. Our goal is to prepare music for one Sunday each month from October through April. In December, our special service is 10:30 a.m. on Christmas Eve Day. If you would like more information on being part of this ensemble, please contact Sondra Joten, Director. We have 5 octaves Malmark handbells and handchimes available and percussion instruments, too. We are at our best when we have 12-13 ringers. COME, JOIN US!!
