• Focuses on helping members grow in their faith by reaching out in love and justice individually, in small groups, and in congregation-wide projects.

• Strives to develop and foster an active witness that reaches out in love to those troubled or in need. 

• Seeks to be a sign of justice and mercy in God’s world

• Links members to ELCA and community ministries.

• Operates within the guidelines of the ELCA and adheres to its policies and recommendations.

Christmas in August - Team volunteer (May – August)

CROP Walk - Participate in the annual, community fundraiser for Church World Service—an ELCA partner organization—supporting development projects around the world and local food pantries(second Sunday in October)
 
Habitat for Humanity Interfaith Build - Help build, provide a lunch, or serve as site host (April to May); sign-up through the following SignUp Genius link for various work or site support shifts needed: http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0b4eaeac2da4f58-2017

Harbor House - Volunteer to serve as good male role model, help in the Critter Corner, or be an economic mentor at local domestic abuse center

Salvation Army Bell Ringing - Volunteer during Annual Red Kettle campaign. 

Women and Justice: One in Christ Social Statement Project – Participate in study process at PoP.

       Community Clothes Closet – Donate to April clothing drive & November winter boot collection
       Tri-County Community Dental Clinic- Dental care items (September)
       Help for the Homeless – Personal care supplies (February)
 
CROP Walk – Sponsor a PoP CROP-Walker
 
Homeless Connections (Formerly Emergency Shelter) - Provide dessert item for evening meal.  (4th Wed. of month)
