God’s amazing grace through Christ Jesus calls us to respond with love for others as individuals and as
a community of faith. The Helping Hands Outreach purpose is to build connections among POP members by providing assistance for aging challenges and those who are experiencing a time of special need in the following ways: (Contact one of the leaders below for more information or requests.)
Helping Hands (HH) Chairperson: Erin Larson
Corresponding through cards for birthdays, hospitalization, baptisms, to service men and women, seniors, homebound members, post-high school students and for special events/occasions and for other needs as requested by staff members.
Helping members with small repairs and odd jobs around the house. We are currently looking for a chairperson for this area of outreach. Volunteers are sharing their variety of skills and talents to do odd jobs for membership of the congregation.
Loss, Healing and Hope Team (formerly Grief Ministry)
Support our bereaved PoP and community-at-large members who have lost loved ones and provide support and resources to those who mourn through Grief Support Groups.
Meals are prepared for and provided to Prince of Peace members in times of special needs.
Sewing and finishing different projects for our church and community, such as quilts for Appleton East students (Gifts of Hope) and making banners for the sanctuary.

Prayer Shawls & Bears
Knitting or crocheting prayer shawls to be given to people in our parish or community. Prayer Bears are given out to individuals and for educational opportunities.
A person needing a ride for worship services, doctor appointments, grocery shopping and other small errands.
Sermons and announcements are mailed out to homebound and elderly members who do not have technology access on a weekly basis.
