I Love to Tell the Story
I love to tell the story of Jesus and His love is our stewardship theme for our 2024 Annual Commitment Appeal, which began Sunday, October 8, 2023.
How have you experienced the love of Jesus in your life? How have you experienced Jesus' love through Prince of Peace? How can you share that love with others?
These are the questions we would like you to reflect on as you consider the giving of time, talents and treasures to God through Prince of Peace.
To help us reflect on our theme, we will be singing the hymn, “I Love to Tell the Story,” for the next three weeks in worship, we will hear stewardship sermons and stewardship talks by members of Prince of Peace, and we will have a display in the narthex. At this display, we will have materials available for you to write down your favorite Bible story and tell us why you love it!

COMMITMENT AND CELEBRATION SUNDAY | OCT. 29
Members were recently mailed their 2024 Intent Card with a Stewardship letter and brochure. Please plan to fill out and bring your Intent Card and Electronic Giving Authorization Form to church on EITHER Sunday, Oct. 22 or Sunday, Oct. 29, Commitment and Celebration Sunday. If you are unable to attend worship on either of these days, please fill out and submit the online Intent Card form.
On these mornings, there will be a blessing of the intent cards and together during worship, we will affirm our intentions at Prince of Peace for 2024.
Following worship on Commitment and Celebration Sunday, Oct. 29, there will be a reception and a time of fellowship in the Narthex, celebrating Jesus' love in and through Prince of Peace.
