PoP 2023 Faith Formation Christmas Program: The Global Connection
Sunday, Dec. 10 | During 9:40 am Worship Service
Ever wonder how Christians in other cultures celebrate Jesus' birth? Take a ride on The Global Connection and find out! The Faith Formation students have been working on songs and lines for their annual Christmas Program. The Global Connection will take you to other lands through song and story, and you'll discover that the ties that bind us are the Savior!
Please have your children practice SINGING the three songs by listening to this music file and reading these lyrics, as well as practice SAYING their lines at home.
Be sure to join us THIS Sunday, December 10 during the 9:40 am worship service to see our Faith Formation students' hard work pay off and see them shine in their performance!

DRESS REHEARSAL: SATURDAY, DEC. 9 from 10-11 am in the Sanctuary. All Faith Formation students, musicians, and anyone else who has a role in the Program should be at this rehearsal. Please dress comfortably.

CHRISTMAS PROGRAM: SUNDAY, DEC. 10 during the 9:40 am worship service. Faith Formation children: report to the Fellowship Hall at the normal time of 9:30 am! No need to wear your name tag.

Children and all involved, please wear FESTIVE HOLIDAY ATTIRE for the Program on Sunday!

PLEASE BE ON TIME!! We have much to get done in a short amount of time tomorrow, and we want to be mindful of everyone's busy schedules during this season. Likewise on Sunday, we want everyone and everything all ready before we enter the sanctuary, so please be on time at 9:30 am in the Fellowship Hall.
To help us celebrate our children's hard work, and the birth of Jesus, we would love for everyone to join us for a RECEPTION in the Narthex following the Program. We have invited ALL of the congregation to assist with this by SIGNING UP to provide treats and juice. Thank you to those who have already signed up. It's not too late to sign up and bring something!! If someone would also volunteer to be in charge of COFFEE this Sunday morning, we'd greatly appreciate it!
Please bring your items to the Narthex by 8:50 am (before the first service ends) OR before the 9:40 am service begins. Thank you for helping to make the Prince of Peace Christmas Program morning even sweeter for everyone – we truly appreciate it!
Be sure to arrive earlier than usual before worship to hear several children and youth play some music selections as part of the service's prelude.
THANK YOU, families, for all your support of the PoP Faith Formation program and this year's Christmas Program! Thank you, also, for sharing your children with us every Sunday morning. We are so proud of your kiddos for all their hard work in practicing and preparing for the Christmas Program, and for all their participation in Faith Formation at PoP. We truly delight in their energy, kindness and love every week.
FINALLY, thank you to our Faith Formation teachers, helpers and EVERYONE who has had a hand in this year’s Christmas Program! It truly takes a village to make this happen, and we want to especially thank our VILLAGE FOLKS: Rebecca Egan, Adam Guthu, Keali Lison, Bobbi Jo Propson, and Anna & Bryan Reinhold. Your time, effort, creativity and enthusiasm are cherished, and we appreciate YOU!
