GREETINGS Friends!

“Ask, and you will receive. Search, and you will find. Knock, and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7

Welcome! We're thrilled you've stopped by! Whether you're just curious about church in general, or intent on seeking to know more about the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ, we're glad you're here.

First off, know that regardless of Covid-19, our Church is not 'closed', we've just shifted our physical location online, connecting in new ways. To that end, to get to know each other, we invite you to attend a Sunday worship service ONLINE HERE, or visit our Facebook and YouTubeChannel to follow/subscribe to our ongoing ministry offerings. Hear from some current members through their 'FAITH TALKS' to get a sense of who and why others have chosen Prince of Peace as a welcoming, safe, neighborly place to explore questions about faith and seek help navigating the many questions that come with that. And if you have children, please check out our Faith Formation page (formerly known as Sunday School) to learn about our programs for Birth - 12th Grade. Fall 2021 Faith Formation classes start September 12. Registration forms will be made available soon. (Note, children are welcome to participate whether you are current members or visitors to see how they like it - but we'd like a headcount for setting up the breakout rooms in advance!). Otherwise, please ASK US QUESTIONS or leave comments so we can meet you - as you are, where you are!

We understand any new situation can have an awkward phase of "what now?" So, please browse through our website pages to learn about WHAT WE BELIEVE as an ELCA affiliated Lutheran Church, "Living Lutheran," connecting with each other, Christ, and our community. We hope you will find Prince of Peace to be an engaged and inclusive congregation of disciples (aka: a group of believers who look forward to meeting new people), transforming lives in our community through the gospel of Jesus Christ.

If you don't mind, please let us know you stopped by using our VISITOR CONNECT CARD. (Share as much or as little as you are comfortable with.) It's not just about us, it's about you and what you're hoping to find here. So introduce yourself and do not hesitate to contact a pastor or staff member directly if you have questions, comments, or interest in discussing more about God, the Bible or Prince of Peace (or "PoP" as we refer to ourselves) in general. (Go to MEET THE STAFF for our contact information). Our weekday [home office] hours vary, but we are very responsive to emails and will return calls as soon as we are available.

IF OR WHEN YOU ARE READY TO MAKE PoP YOUR CHURCH HOME, LET US KNOW!
We'd sure like to get to know each other through our Christ-centered events, education, service, and worship. It's of course, a little different right now with CoVid-19 restrictions, but we are trying to stay connected safely and within social distancing parameters. We understand everyone has to make their 'faith journey' at their own pace, so if and when you are at a point and feel called to make Prince of Peace your faith home, know that we'd ask you to attend informal, informational 'New Member Class' held twice a year, in the spring & fall. We typically send out information a month prior to individuals or families who have expressed interest in joining, so please call the church office if you'd like to be added to our list (920-739-5255). To learn more, please contact our staff Membership/Volunteer Coordinator, Cindy Romnek (cromnek@popappleton.org). (For direct transfers from another ELCA congregation, please contact Cindy or our Pastoral Staff.)
